Who We Are
MarKon provides a platform to connect for professionals from various maritime sectors. The motive is to promote Singapore as a Leading International Maritime Centre by improving the knowledge, experience.
Efficiency and understanding among the members and by guiding the youth to excel within maritime industry through networking opportunities.
Objective
- To provide a platform to connect for professionals from various maritime sectors.
- To improve the knowledge, efficiency and understanding of the maritime industry among members.
- To provide an introduction to the maritime industry for members from non-maritime industry
- To help promote the interest of the maritime industry and guide the youth to excel in the maritime industry
- To help promote Singapore as a Leading International Maritime Centre.
- To provide a platform for sharing knowledge/experience from various sectors of the maritime industry.
- To increase social interaction, understanding, and co-operation among members.
- To run and operate a Clubhouse for the use and recreation of members.
- To do all such lawful things as are conducive to the achievement of the above objects.
- To network with exchanges and similar organizations.
- In furtherance of the above objects, the Society may make contributions towards charitable organizations as identified by the committee from time to time.
